Rusolovo PJSC becomes MINEX 2022 finalist in two categories

Moscow – 7 October 2022 Moscow hosted mining and geological forum MINEX 2022 on 5–6 October. Rusolovo PJSC (MOEX: ROLO) (‘Rusolovo’ or the ‘Company’) became a finalist in two categories of MINEX 2022.

This year’s MineTech category showcases a project for the improvement of efficiency of tin ore processing from the Pravourmiyskoye Deposit using X-ray transmission sorting. This technology enables pre-concentrating ore while reducing mineral losses by improving recovery rate to at least 67% at the processing plant and improving a finished product quality by reducing harmful impurities in the finished concentrate. The method was bestowed with a special award in the form of prestigious prize diploma.

Yet another project of Rusolovo PJSC made it to the finals and was awarded a special diploma in the Sustainable Development Project Category. This refers to the adit water neutralisation station. The essence of the technology is that the flow of neutralised discharges after liming with background carbon dioxide splashing reduces the concentration of copper by almost a thousand times, thereby eliminating the environmental risk and improving the quality of the environment.
