Local communities

Rusolovo PJSC has a meaningful positive impact on the economic and social development of the regions of its operations. The Company contributes to the improvement of living standards, while supporting local community across a number of fields, including the improvement of urban infrastructure, the preservation of historic and cultural heritage, environmental protection, charitable support and the implementation of social initiatives.

In 2021, the Chukotka Autonomous Region Government and Rusolovo PJSC entered into a long-term cooperation agreement for socio-economic development of the Chukotka Autonomous Region as part of the Pyrkakay stockworks deposit development. Throughout the period of its operations Rusolovo PJSC in the Chaunskiy district will routinely implement projects aimed at arranging for eco- and cost-efficient development of the deposit, offering extensive opportunities for the employment of local community, taking action, together with the Government, with a view to protecting the environment and the natural habitat of indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North in the area affected by industrial facilities. The Company will take an active part in public road development project near the Pyrkakay stockworks deposit.

Rusolovo PJSC contributes greatly to the development of social and cultural projects, supports local communities and ethnic groups. These projects will include modernization of Local History Museum in the town of Solnechny, Khabarovskregion, in 2022. The Local History Museum is a showpiece of Solnechny municipal district. The Company takes an active part in supporting city-wide and local events in the Khabarovsk region.

Currently, the museum is on the principal sightseeing routes and has five active permanent exhibitions.

In addition, the company renders ongoing support related to site improvements for municipalities, repairs for educational institutions.

Apart from that, the company gave gifts to pupils at children’s social institutions, supported individuals and public organizations.
